BECOMING A JUNIOR ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Want to make a difference? Your voice matters. As a Junior Advisory Board Member, you can help the Tigger Stavola Foundation fight addiction, raise awareness, and save lives. You’ll have opportunities to support student wellness, bring important conversations to your school, and help create programs for teens across New Jersey. How you can help: Help bring Tigger Stavola Foundation speakers and messages to your school, and volunteer at foundation events when you can. Encourage friends and classmates to ask for help and talk openly about mental health—without shame or judgment. If you feel comfortable, share how substance use has affected your life or community, so others know they are not alone. Share accurate, helpful information about prevention and mental health in a welcoming and respectful way. Lead by example through kindness, healthy choices, responsibility, and support for others. “I’ve seen how addiction can affect families, friendships, and futures. I believe honest conversations and education can help prevent it. Being a Junior Board Member gives me a chance to use my voice, support other students, and create positive change in my community.”
