During the week of November 14, DEA field divisions across the country hosted Family Summits in their community to bring together families who have lost loved ones to drug overdoses, federal partners and community prevention groups.

These families are working to prevent others from experiencing the tragic loss of a loved one. The local summits will provide opportunities to share information, build connections, and foster collaboration between family groups, DEA, non-profits and other key sectors of their local community.

The Tigger Stavola Foundation was invited to the Inaugural Summit held this week in Newark and given the opportunity to share Tiggers story and learn about the measures the state of NJ is taking to prevent illegal drugs from entering the state. The Foundation is proud to have been recognized and invited to this groundbreaking event.
