The 2024 Larry Hesse Scholarship

The Tigger Stavola Foundation seeks to award a student who has shown empathy and compassion for others. These are characteristics for which Larry Hesse, a dear friend of the Foundation and donor since inception, was known.

Eligibility Requirements

Any senior from a Monmouth County High School who feels they have been a positive role model for their peers or in their community, church, or similar group. Student must be pursuing a two- or four-year college degree or plan on attending a trade school.

Scholarship Amount

One student will be awarded $5000.

Recount a time when you helped someone at a disadvantage. Perhaps by showing courage while standing up for the underdog or by challenging a societal norm. How did it affect the person you were defending, and what did you learn from the experience?
