Lori brings experience as both an educator and entrepreneur to the Tigger Stavola Foundation
(TSF). She oversees logistics for the Foundation’s presentations at Partner Schools. In this role,
she works on-site at schools to coordinate with administrators, counselors and speakers to
ensure the effective delivery of drug prevention messaging.
Lori is also leading the development of TSF-branded educational tools and games with insight
from local psychology and wellness experts. These toys, such as the “thumb ball” help reinforce
the strategies she teaches youth to manage stress and achieve a natural high. To further
engage local students and align them with the Foundation’s mission, Lori is spearheading a
teen volunteer program. She can often be found at community events distributing TSF literature
or lending a hand and her organizational skills at its fundraisers.
Prior to joining TSF, Lori taught Language Arts and Spanish at elementary and middle schools
in New Jersey and in the Brooklyn Public School System and took on a leadership role in the
Elementary Foreign Language Department. She developed expertise in Technology Centered
Learning and provided assessments on that topic to the Rutgers University Global Citizen
Project. In 2008, Lori founded Its Sunbelievable LLC, which operates the mobile tanning salon
Airbrush Tan To Go.
Lori earned both a master’s degree and Bachelor of Arts in Education from Brooklyn College
and completed certification programs at Kean University and Caldwell College.
